This is a nice universally flattering shade with a pinkish peach tint. This cream goes well with a matte top coat, or shiny top coat if you prefer. The bright color is nice for warmer weather, but is also office appropriate all year.
I must have a dozen of different shades of pink from Essie and I love them all! The color comes out to be a darker shade of “light pink” and it’s a beauty!
A Pretty color. A light pink that is not too light.
In my experience, Essie is very good at making nice peachy-pink shades and Lounge Lover is another one of those goodies. Lounge Lover is a gorgeous peachy-pinky-coral shade which is simultaneously bright and pastel. It is a sweet shade, perfect to wear on Spring and Summer days very girly and fun. It has a great formula, it reaches full opacity in two coats and doesn't apply with any streaks or patches. The formula is a nice consistency, not too thick or too thin. It is very easy to apply. It dries quickly and to a shiny finish. I believe this shade would be flattering on most skin tones, particularly warm tones. It has good lasting power, lasting around 5 days on my nails when paired with base coat and top coat. I find this to be the expected wear time for Essie polishes. I would highly recommend this versatile Spring shade to everyone!
This is kind of an odd, though not to say ugly, color. It's a pastel orange-peach that's so bright it's almost neon. It's unique and not altogether unflattering but also not the prettiest shade I've come across. The formula is simultaneously too thick and too thin. It goes on almost gloppy but is also streaky and leaves too many undone spots. To get it even and opaque you need at least three coats, but it's so thick that three feels like too many. Definitely not the best from Essie.
