CND saved my nails

I started giving myself gel nails 10-12 years ago and had no problems until 4 years ago, when I noticed my nails were coming loose from the nail bed on the sides. I saw a dermatologist who misdiagnosed me, indicating it was because of a NSAID medication I was taking. I quit taking it and the problem continued, so I stopped the gel nails and used regular nail polish. I'd go back and forth once my nails were healthy again, until the itching under the nail became unbearable. I then ran across an article about developing an allergy to methacrylate, an ingredient in most gel polishes, but not in CND. I decided to give CND a try and can't express how happy I've been with the difference. My nails no longer become loose and absolutely no more itching. CND may not last quite as long as my previous brand, but removing the polish is so much easier now that I don't have to file down the top finish. I read that CND may be thinner than other gel polishes but I find it to be a little thicker. Regular polish just didn't provide the same nail protection, and of course didn't last as long. I threw out probably close to $300 of my previous brand yesterday.
This lilac shade is pretty close to one of my old favorites. It's a wonderful spring color but looks great through summer. I'm looking forward to trying the other two colors I also purchased.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I received no email notice of my order shipping or when I would arrive. I'd get no response when I tried contacting customer service. But the shipping time was acceptable.
