Clean Slate Peelable Base Application Directions:

Clean Slate Peel Base application methods will vary from person to person based on preferred manicure longevity as well as nail bed chemistry. We suggest trial and error to discover which application method works best for you.

Option 1:
For the longest lasting manicure using Clean Slate Peelable Base and naturally drier nail beds, we recommend a strip of Clean Slate down the middle, allowing Clean Slate to dry completely before proceeding with the Dip Powder process.

Option 2:
For the longest lasting manicure using Clean Slate Peelable Base and naturally oilier nail beds, apply a small dot in the center of the nail, allowing Clean Slate to dry completely before proceeding with the Dip Powder process.

Absolutely horrible

Should be called cement base instead of peel base. I bought this on a 2 for 1 sale, so I have a sneaky suspicion that the issues with this formula were well-known to Sleek Nail. It shouldn't have been sold as it caused injury to my nail beds. This base adhered like gorilla glue. I had a smooth builder gel base. I applied two full-nail base coats of this peel base with a dip powder mani on top. Two days later I went on a 10 day scuba diving vacation. After 7 days of 4 hour salt water soaks under 80 ft of water, the peel base was still glued solid. Eventually, two of my nails lifted at the gel builder base, not the peel base. When I attempted to remove the peel base my nails were damaged. I eventually had to file and soak this junk off. I am disappointed in both Revel Nail and Sleek Nail. Do NOT buy this.
